Your feedback matters

Cornerstone has been working with the Scottish Futures Trust to help make it simpler and easier to install mobile infrastructure across Scotland.

The Scottish Futures Trust aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure investment and use in Scotland by working collaboratively with public bodies and the industry, improving public services. The Trust launched a programme, Infralink, specifically dedicated to enhancing mobile digital connectivity across Scotland.

In March this year, Infralink published a set of Standard Leases and Payment Guidance to be used as a credible option when mobile operators or infrastructure providers approach site owners to put a mobile telecoms mast on their assets. By establishing a transparent starting point for discussions between potential landlords and tenants, negotiations and deployment can result in improved connectivity in an area.

The Scottish Futures Trust would like to hear from you, and are inviting you to have your say - finding out the following:

  • Whether they have struck the right balance between landlord control and promoting connectivity in the leases
  • How suitable are the suggested figures in the payment guidance
  • Whether the leases and guidance have been used in practice

We would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes of your time to complete the survey. Once all the responses have been submitted, Infralink will make necessary amendments to the documents and publish the survey findings. Please take this opportunity to have your say and be part of supporting Scotland’s digital connectivity future.
